February’s PlayStation Plus games leak ahead of time

As with nearly every month now, the line-up of free PlayStation Plus titles for February 2023 have leaked ahead of time, revealing that next month will feature three free PlayStation 5 games, including Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

As reported by billbil-kun – who has accurately leaked PS Plus titles ahead of time for months now – February’s PS Plus Essential titles (which will be available to redeem and add to your library from the 7th of February to the 6th of March) is as follows:

  • OlliOlli World (PS5 | PS4)
  • Mafia Definitive Edition (PS4)
  • Evil Dead The Game (PS5 | PS4)
  • Destiny 2 Beyond Light [DLC] (PS5 | PS4)

If this is indeed the line-up (and we have little reason to doubt it) then February’s PS Plus Essential list is an exciting one indeed. It is interesting to see 3 of the 4 titles being offered including a PS5 version – proving that we may finally be moving away from PS4 as the primarily-supported console for PS Plus.

It is worth noting that according to billbil-kun, Mafia Definitive Edition may not be available in all regions, and could be replaced by an as-of-yet-unknown title. Even without Mafia, February would be a relatively exciting month, and so hopefully this does indeed end up being the official line-up. We won’t have to wait too long to find out.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
