Anyone who preorders Dead Space Remake on Steam gets Dead Space 2 for free

The remake of the much-loved sci-fi survival horror title Dead Space is mere weeks away, and those who remain unsure of whether they want to experience this journey have now been given a slight bit of enticement, as all those who pre-order the Dead Space Remake on Steam will get a copy of the original game’s sequel for free.

Making the announcement on their Steam page, the Dead Space team said “Pre-Purchase now and you’ll also receive Dead Space 2 when the remake launches on January 27, 2023. Already Pre-Purchased? Not a problem, this offer covers you as well. Immerse yourself in a stunning sci-fi universe and story – Pre-Purchase today!”

Considering the fact that Dead Space 2 first released all the way back in 2011, this offer is an interesting one, especially as it is a sequel to the original Dead Space, and not the remake.

In some ways, it would have perhaps made more sense for the original first game to be given away alongside the remake – but free is free, and so it is nice regardless to see a bonus being given to customers (even if it is of a game which has in the past sold for as little as £2).

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
