Persona 3 remake reportedly in development

Later this month, Persona 3 Portable is set to be released for modern systems after spending so long trapped on its original release hardware. Despite the upcoming re-release it seems as though ATLUS has much bigger plans for the well-loved JRPG, as according to an insider, a full blown remake of Persona 3 is in the works.

As reported by ResetEra user lolilolailo (who previously leaked the Game Pass releases for P3P and P4G), a full-on remake of Persona 3 is in the works which will feature “Persona 5-like graphics and quality-of-life improvements.”

For the uninitiated, Persona 3 exists in multiple incarnations, that being the original Persona 3; Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable. Each of these three titles have their own advantages and disadvantages, with Portable for example not including 3D hubs, instead being replaced by static images. Despite this P3P has much more content, allowing you to play as a whole new protagonist if you wish.

With the full Persona 3 experience being split up amongst multiple titles, it would make sense for ATLUS to remake the title, adding all of the exclusive content from each release into one single slick package.

As with Persona 5, P3 is a highly stylish game, and so it being given a makeover with Persona 5-like visuals would make for an amazing experience. Hopefully this does end up being true.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
