Star Citizen is free to play for the rest of the month

Cloud Imperium Games typically opens up Star Citizen a few times a year, inviting new players to check the game out for free for a few days. We're getting more than a few days this time around, with Star Citizen going free to play for the rest of the month.

Until the end of November, you can play Star Citizen completely for free, allowing you to test out over 120 different ships, including the larger ships with crew quarters, stronger weapons and space for multiple players to travel together.

During the event, you can head to the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo, which is essentially a metaverse convention. You can log into Star Citizen, head to the digital expo in-game, and from there, you can walk through interactive expo halls, take part in activities and more.

The event is good for current fans of the game too, as several new ships are being announced and shown as part of the event.

KitGuru Says: Star Citizen has generated a ton of money over the years through its crowd funding efforts. We're still some ways off from the game's vision being fully realised. Are you planning on jumping into Star Citizen while its free to check out how far the game has come along?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
