Baldur’s Gate 3 release date will be announced soon

After launching into Early Access in 2020, Larian has been quietly working away on Baldur’s Gate 3 to get it ready for full release. While initially the studio was aiming for a 2022 release window, the developers now have their sights set on 2023 for the full game, and a proper release date will be announced soon.

Larian hinted that this would be the case back in February, saying that “our expectation is that Baldur's Gate 3 will release out of Early Access in 2023”. The studio followed that up again with confirmation that the game will leave Early Access in 2023.

We've had a few months of quiet since then, but that will soon change. Larian will be announcing the release date for Baldur's Gate 3 when Patch 9 begins rolling out next month. This patch will add a bunch of new features to the game, so those who have been following along since the early days should be tempted to dive back in for more.

Right now, Larian is playtesting the final two story acts for the game. If all goes well, we could see Baldur's Gate 3 getting a release date in the first half of next year.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
