Ghostwire Tokyo on track for Xbox launch

Prior to Microsoft acquiring Bethesda, Sony had actually set up a partnership with the company, which would see two Bethesda games turn into PS5 console exclusives. The first game, Deathloop, launched in 2021 and just recently came to Xbox. Now, it looks like Ghostwire Tokyo for Xbox is only a few months away as well.

A recent picture of Bethesda's London office has surfaced online, with a wall dedicated to Ghostwire Tokyo and listing it as an Xbox Series X/S title. This indicates that the Xbox version is being worked on, or has already been made, and Microsoft is just waiting for the PlayStation timed exclusivity period to run out.

Deathloop came to Xbox pretty much exactly one year after the PS5 launch. The game was already available on PC, but the lifting of exclusivity allowed for Microsoft to bring the game to Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.

Ghostwire Tokyo launched in March this year for PS5 and PC. It looks like in March 2023, we can expect to see the game hit Xbox consoles, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
