Dell leak confirms Intel Arc A30M Pro GPUs for laptop workstations

We're expecting to see the first Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs for mainstream and gaming laptops shortly, but Intel has said nothing officially about workstation-grade GPUs for laptops. That should change soon, as a Dell leak has confirmed mobile workstation GPUs from Intel.

The Dell Precision 5470 leaflet leaked by ITHome (via HXL) details the specifications of the 14-inch laptop, which offers multiple Intel Alder Lake-H CPU options, up to 64GB of DDR5-5200 memory, and up to 4TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The most interesting part is at the bottom of the spec sheet, where Dell listed “Intel Arc A30M Pro graphics” as an option. As an alternative, the Precision 5470 can also feature the recently announced Nvidia RTX A1000.

Recently, Intel also revealed a GPU diagram, showing the Arc Alchemist architecture. The first Arc Alchemist GPUs for laptops are supposed to launch on the 30th of March, although this initial launch may not include ‘Pro' series GPUs.

Later in the year, Intel will also roll out the first Arc Alchemist graphics cards for desktop systems.

KitGuru says: We should have more information on Intel's new discrete graphics options later in the week.
