The Mighty Thor is finally coming to Avengers at the end of June

We’ve been hearing for months now that Jane Foster, AKA Mighty Thor, would be coming to Marvel’s Avengers as an alternate version of the God of Thunder. While the character was originally intended to release in May, thanks to a new trailer we now finally know when Jane Foster will be joining the Avengers: On the 28th of June.

Ahead of the character's arrival in-game, Marvel’s Avengers released its first trailer for Jane Foster, titled ‘The Mighty Thor: Out of Time’. While no gameplay was shown, the video serves as a good character introduction while also revealing that Mighty Thor is from an alternate universe where she had to team up with Loki to take down a corrupted Odin.

The trailer is accompanied by subtle animated images evoking the stylings of comic book strips as well as voice over from The Mighty Thor herself. It is interesting to see Avengers focusing on the narrative of the character, giving the game much greater personality.

With all roadmaps abandoned, it is safe to assume that Marvel’s Avengers is on its last legs. Despite this, the latest trailer served as a great way to introduce Jane Foster as The Mighty Thor. Hopefully the team has put just as much thought into the character’s gameplay. The Mighty Thor is coming to Marvel’s Avengers on the 28th of June, one week ahead of Thor: Love and Thunder’s cinema release.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
