Intel Core i9-12900KS pricing and specifications revealed via listing

Intel announced the Core i9-12900KS pre-binned chip a while ago, but official information about it is still scarce. While we wait for Intel to tell us more about the upcoming CPU, a retailer listing has been spotted, unveiling new details.

Known leaker, @momomo_us, appears to have found a retail listing for the upcoming processor, sharing new details. We already knew the chip would reach 5.5GHz, but the PBP (Processor Base Power) was unknown until now. As it seems, this chip will come rated at 150W. Pricing is estimated at around $750 (£554).

VideoCardz went a little deeper and found more listings while searching for the “BX8071512900KS” code. Based on our search, prices vary slightly, from $780 (£576) for the tray model to $792 (£585) for the boxed version.

Intel hasn't announced when the Intel Core i9-12900KS will become available. However, considering we're already seeing listings of this processor, it shouldn't take long.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
