CONTROL is free on the Epic Games Store

Each day, Epic Games is giving away a different title for free to all those with an Epic Games account as part of the store front’s 15 days of free games. Right now, you can get your hands on Remedy Entertainment’s award-winning action-adventure title CONTROL.

Available to purchase for free until 4pm (GMT) later today, Control is the latest original game to come from the much-loved Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment, known for hits such as Alan Wake and the original Max Payne duology.

Originally released in 2019, Control took the best elements from Remedy’s past and combined it into an action-adventure title with a unique explorable world, fun and interesting gameplay, and an impressive physics system which made for a game that not only felt good to play, but also to watch, listen and simply absorb its world.

One of the most visually-striking and personality-filled games in recent memory, Control was clearly the byproduct of a strong sense of design and purposeful intent. It seemed to have resonated with fans too, as the game surpassed 10 million players.

With more games set in the world of Control confirmed to be on the way, those who have not yet played the game can now do so for the price of free. Furthermore, while the game's season pass is not included, it is currently 60% off – costing just £4.79.

Control was widely regarded as one of 2019’s best games, and so if you have not yet played it, there is now no excuse to not do so. Control can be purchased for free HERE.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
