Alan Wake Remastered to release in October

We've been expecting Remedy Entertainment to revisit the Alan Wake IP for quite some time now, having acquired the rights from Microsoft and re-introduced the titular character in an expansion for another game, Control. Now, it looks like we'll be getting an Alan Wake Remaster, and it won't be long before we get our hands on it.

In a retail listing, Rakuten Taiwan revealed PlayStation and Xbox versions of Alan Wake Remastered, as well as a 5th of October release date. According to analyst Daniel Ahmad, Remedy is planning to officially announce Alan Wake Remastered and its release date next week.

Currently, Remedy Entertainment is working on several projects, one of which is believed to be a long-awaited sequel to Alan Wake. Before we get to that though, we'll be getting a chance to re-experience the original game with this new remaster.

Given that this information has already leaked, Remedy should be quick to confirm the game and its release date early next week.

KitGuru Says: If all of this holds true, there will be a very quick turnaround from announcement to release for Alan Wake Remastered. Will any of you be picking this up once it drops?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
