Steam Halloween, Autumn and Winter sales dates revealed

The Steam Summer Sale has come and gone but as we enter the final months of the year, there will be three additional sales coming our way. This week, the dates for the Steam Halloween Sale, Autumn Sale and Winter Sale have leaked, so it is time to get that wishlist populated and prepare your wallet.

The final sales of the year are all taking place in close proximity this year. The Halloween Sale will take place from the 28th of October to the 1st of November, while the Autumn Sale will start on the 24th of November and end on the 30th of November. Just a few weeks later, the Winter Sale will kick off on the 22nd of December and end on the 5th of January 2022.

The dates this time around were supplied by SteamDB. Valve gives all registered publishers and developers on Steam a heads up on sale dates so that they can set discounts in advance themselves. As a result, Steam Sale dates have leaked for several years now.

We don’t know what Valve might have planned on the event side though. The bigger Steam sales usually feature a community event, where players participate in small activities and can earn achievements, trading cards and even discounts on games.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
