Nvidia’s latest driver brings Reflex and DLSS to new games

With the RTX 3080 Ti now technically ‘available', it is time for a new Nvidia driver update. The latest GeForce driver brings day-one support for the RTX 3080 Ti, in addition to Nvidia DLSS and Reflex integration on several games.

Aside from day-one support for the RTX 3080 Ti, which we reviewed earlier this week, this driver also adds day-one ‘Game Ready' support for Chivalry 2 and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2.  The GeForce Experience app can now also be used to apply Nvidia's recommended settings on several new apps and games, including Aim Lab, Biomutant, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, Everspace 2 and Redout: Space Assault.

Three big games are getting new Nvidia features. For starters, No Man's Sky is getting updated with Nvidia DLSS, enabling higher frame rates on RTX graphics cards. DLSS will work while playing the game normally on your PC, as well as in VR mode.

Escape From Tarkov and War Thunder, two massive multiplayer titles, are also implementing Nvidia Reflex technology alongside this new driver. With Nvidia Reflex, GeForce graphics card owners can cut down overall system latency, leading to much faster response times for in-game actions.

The GeForce Game Ready 466.63 WHQL driver can now be downloaded and installed through the GeForce Experience app.

KitGuru Says: It's time for another driver update. If you're using an Nvidia graphics card, then let us know how you get on with this new driver.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
