Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti allegedly launching in April and May

A couple of weeks ago, sources began claiming that we would see the RTX 3080 Ti in April. Now, new reports are backing that up and adding on details for an RTX 3070 Ti launch, which is allegedly taking place in May. 

According to Videocardz's sources, the RTX 3080 Ti will ship with a PG132 SKU 18 board with a GA102-225 GPU and 12GB of GDDR6X memory. Initially, it was expected that the RTX 3080 Ti would have a GA102-250 GPU, but aside from this change, other rumoured specifications remain the game, including 10,240 CUDA cores, 80 RT cores and 320 Tensor cores.

Interestingly, the RTX 3080 Ti isn't the only GPU currently in the works. It is also reported that Nvidia is preparing an RTX 3070 Ti, which is based on the PG141 SKU 10 board, with a GA104-400 GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores. Other rumoured specifications include 48 RT cores, 192 Tensor cores and 8GB of GDDR6X memory across a 256-bit bus.

Both RTX 30 series GPUs are expected to release with Nvidia's Ethereum mining limiter. The RTX 3080 Ti is rumoured to be announced in the first half of April.
