Bethesda and Netflix reportedly working on The Elder Scrolls TV series

We already know that Bethesda is working with Amazon to produce a TV series based on Fallout, but now, it looks like The Elder Scrolls could be next. This time around though, Netflix will be the streaming service of choice.

According to known TV and film insider, Daniel Richtman, Bethesda and Netflix have teamed up to develop a TV series based on The Elder Scrolls IP. As a series with plenty of deep lore and major events throughout its history, it seems like a prime candidate for an adaptation.

Unfortunately, there are no further details for now, as the show is reportedly in the developmental stage, the first step is finding a team to handle pre-production, prepare scripts and lock in the blueprint for a season. After that, there's casting, filming and post-production to consider.

Netflix and Bethesda have not officially announced a series based on The Elder Scrolls yet, but if leaks are starting to pop up, we should get an official announcement in 2021.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
