Porsche Design and AOC team up for QHD 240Hz gaming monitor

AOC has been teaming up with Porsche Design for a while now, often resulting in the nicest looking office displays around. Now, AOC and Porsche Design are tackling gaming monitors, starting with the Porsche Design AOC AGON PD27.

The AGON PD27 is a 27-inch, 1440p monitor with a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and a 0.5ms MPRT response time. So not only does it pack premium design elements, but also high-end gaming features.

Similarly to past Porsche Design and AOC monitors, this one is already generating buzz when it comes to awards, with the AGON PD27 already being given the Red Dot 2020 Award.

The monitor is curved, providing a tight 1000R curvature, but it also supports HDR, more specifically, the DisplayHDR 400 standard. On the back of the monitor, you'll find a 4-port USB 3.2 hub, two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. The Porsche Design AOC AGON PD27 will begin shipping on the 5th of December for $799.99.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
