Apple has ‘one more thing’ to announce at event next week

Apple has had two events over the last couple of months, announcing new iPads, iPhones and other accessories. The company isn't done yet though, as another ‘One More Thing' event has been announced for next week.

Today, Apple began teasing that it has ‘one more thing' up its sleeve for 2020. Given iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch have all been tackled already, chances are this will be a Mac focused event.

Earlier this year, Apple announced plans to officially move Macs from Intel to ARM-based processors based on its own custom designs. Developers have been working with and testing this hardware for most of the year.

With all of that in mind, it seems likely that we'll be seeing the launch of the first ARM-based Mac on the 10th of November, coupled with an official release date for macOS Big Sur, which has also been in beta for quite some time now.

KitGuru Says: It will be interesting to see what the first ARM-based Macs are capable of and the general thoughts and impressions of them. Are any of you currently running a Mac system?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
