ASUS expands TUF Gaming lineup with 27-inch 165Hz monitor

ASUS has announced the latest monitor joining its TUF Gaming lineup – The TUF Gaming VG279QL1A. This is a a 27-inch Full HD IPS monitor with a super smooth 165Hz refresh rate, bringing a competitive advantage in games.

The TUF Gaming VG279QL1A from ASUS sports a 1ms Moving Picture Response Time (MSRP) and features “ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur” (ELMB) technology that is designed to eliminate ghosting for “sharp gaming visuals with high frame rates”. The 27-inch gaming monitor also comes with “FreeSync Premium technology” that helps get rid of screen tearing and “choppy” frame rates.

ASUS' TUF Gaming VG279QL1A has 125% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 colour spaces which means that the monitor provides “distinct” colour gradations. The screen features DisplayHDR 400 that helps contrast between the brightest and darkest areas of the screen. For connectivity the monitor from ASUS offers two USB 3.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI (V2.0), and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

We don't have pricing for the new ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QL1A, but we will keep an eye out for UK pricing and availability.
