iiyama is expanding its G-Master line with two curved Red Eagle monitors. Both the G2466HSU and the GB3266QSU were designed with curved screens, low response times and high refresh rates for gaming.
The iiyama G-Master Red Eagle G2466HSU is a 24-inch monitor with a Full HD curved (1500R) VA panel and a 165Hz refresh rate. This 8-bit panel has a 1ms MPRT response time, typical brightness of 250 nits and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. The monitor is certified with FreeSync Premium for a tear-free gaming experience, multiple colour presets to choose from, and Black Tuner to brighten up darker areas. As most modern monitors, it also features a low blue light mode and flicker-free technology to reduce the user's eye strain.
The iiyama G-Master Red Eagle GB3266QSU comes with a 32-inch curved (1800R) VA panel instead, featuring a QHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms MPRT. The contrast ratio of 3000:1 and 400 nits of typical brightness allows this 8-bit panel to cover up to 96% of the sRGB colour gamut and 72% of the NTSC spectrum. Just like the G2466HSU, it features FreeSync Premium, Black Tuner, game modes/colour presets, flicker-free technology, and blue light reducer.
Regarding the monitors' connectivity, both feature 2x internal speakers (2W for the G2466HSU and 5W for the GB3266QSU), 3.5mm audio jacks, and 2x HDMI ports each. The G2466HSU features only one DisplayPort, while the GB3266QSU comes with two. Additionally, the GB3266QSU features a USB-hub with 4 USB ports, from which 2 are USB 3.0 and 2 are USB 2.0). These two monitors also come with VESA 100x100mm support and tilting capabilities. The GB3266QSU goes a bit further on the ergonomics, with the included stand allowing height adjustment and swivel.
