Rocksteady reveals Suicide Squad game, full reveal coming this month

Ever since shipping Batman: Arkham Knight back in 2015, Rocksteady has been silent, leading to plenty of rumours about the studio's next game. At first, this was believed to be a Superman game but later on, Suicide Squad rumours began popping up. As it turns out, Rocksteady is indeed working on a Suicide Squad game, but it will feature Superman.

In a surprise announcement today, Rocksteady Studios tweeted its promotion for the DC FanDome event later this month:

As you can see from the tweet, Rocksteady is in fact making a Suicide Squad game and seemingly, Superman will be the antagonist. This is certainly an evil version of Superman, as we can see from his glowing red eyes and the popping veins in his face, indicating that he is being affected by something and not necessarily just going crazy as we saw in the Injustice series.

The reveal will be taking place on the 22nd of August during DC FanDome. During that event, we are also expecting to see the announcement of a new Batman game from the folks at WB Montreal.

KitGuru Says: Now that this project has been officially revealed, I do wonder if more credible leaks will start to circulate very soon. Either way though, the official announcement is not far off now. Are many of you excited to see Rocksteady's take on Suicide Squad?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
