Horizon Zero Dawn PC trailer, screenshots and release date revealed

Ever since Sony first announced Horizon Zero Dawn for PC, we've been waiting to hear more details. Now, just a few days after the PC launch trailer for Death Stranding, the PC trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn has also arrived, as have details on graphics options and the release date.

Horizon Zero Dawn will be coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on the 7th of August. Some key features include ultra-wide support, an unlocked frame rate, dynamic foliage, improved reflections, key/button mapping and a benchmarking tool.

You can also see some screenshots of the game running on PC in the gallery above, alongside a good look at the graphics menu itself. Options include FoV adjustment, render scaling, HDR, and up to  ‘Ultra' settings for textures, shadows, lighting etc. Anti-aliasing is TAA or FXAA, with no DLSS 2.0 option like we see in Death Stranding.

KitGuru Says: Horizon Zero Dawn is looking great at fully unlocked quality on PC. Hopefully we can also achieve decent frame rates on a wide range of hardware too. Are many of you planning on picking this up in August?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
