Crucial is now selling a 1TB SSD for under £100

Everybody that still doesn't have an SDD in their desktop or laptop is now facing a crucial decision, if you would excuse the pun… That's because Crucial is now selling 1TB SSDs for under £100

Crucial's one terabyte solid state drive from its P1 series is being sold for £95.99. The SSD doesn't only include 1 TB of storage, but also comes with a 5-year limited warranty. The company announced that their SSDs have gone through “thousands of validation hours and dozens of qualification tests”. For those who still aren't swayed, Crucial offers a 45-day money-back period – even though the company says that “it’s rare for customers to return Crucial products”.

The SSD features a sequential read speed of 2,000 MB/s and a sequential write speed of 1,700 MB/s. The model is delivered with a PCIe NVMe Gen 3 interface. To make it easier for less experienced buyers Crucial has prepared an installation guide. The guide instructs costumers on how to clone their previous SSD and get their newly acquired storage up and running as soon as possible.
