Bungie begins teasing Destiny 2’s next major expansion

Bungie seemingly slipped up last night by posting and then removing a brief teaser trailer for what appears to be the next major Destiny 2 expansion. While the post was removed, eagle-eyed fans were quick to preserve it.

The teaser was posted to Instagram, so presumably this was a scheduled post mistakenly made live early. The direct link to the post still works right now but you won't find it on displayed publicly on the Destiny Instagram profile.

As the post says, Bungie is going to reveal something big for Destiny 2 on the 9th of June. In the teaser, we see Eris Morn walking through icy terrain on a planet or moon close to Jupiter. With that in mind, this is likely for an expansion and not seasonal content, as there seems to be a new zone that guardians will be sent off to.

Of course, this will also tie in to the story currently playing out in Destiny 2's seasons, with pyramids appearing in space, possibly housing ‘The Darkness', an enemy faction often mentioned in Destiny but never shown.

KitGuru Says: Barring any delays, it looks like June 9th will be an exciting day for Destiny fans. We should also be getting another season before the Fall expansion, which will be used as a teasing ground for what's to come.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
