EKWB launch D-RGB water block for Asus Dual RTX Evo cards

Over the past few weeks, EK Water Blocks has been adding new D-RGB enabled GPU water blocks and other custom cooling products to its line-up. EKWB has now announced another D-RGB GPU block specifically designed for the Asus Dual RTX EVO series graphics cards.

EKWB has been updating its current crop of products including GPU water blocks, pumps, reservoirs and CPU blocks with D-RGB LED versions. The company has now launched another new D-RGB GPU block specifically for the Asus Dual RTX EVO series graphics cards. The EK-Quantum Vector Dual Evo RTX 2070/2080 is engineered for use on Asus Dual RTX 2070, 2080, 2070 Super and 2080 Super graphics cards.

The new GPU water block utilises EK’s signature single slot slim design and covers the entire length of the Asus Dual RTX Evo PCB, to convert the graphics card into minimalist looking piece of hardware with RGB lighting accents. The EK-Quantum Vector Dual Evo RTX 2070/2080 D-RGB water block offers direct cooling to critical areas of the graphics card, including the GPU core, VRAM and MOSFETS to allow for maximum GPU performance.

Along with the new Asus Dual RTX Evo water block, EK has designed a new retention backplate, which the company recommends being purchased with the GPU block. The retention backplate is designed to provide additional passive cooling to the rear of the card by making contact with the GPU core and circuit board VRM area.

The base of the GPU block is constructed from nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is machined from a high-quality acrylic material with EPDM rubber 0-rings to ensure a tight seal. RGB LED strips are found on either end of the GPU water block, with two more located in the terminal cover. EKWB D-RGB products are equipped with 3-pin 5V addressable RGB LEDs that are compatible with standard motherboard 3-pin headers, for control via motherboard RGB sync software.

EK-Quantum Vector Dual Evo series water blocks and backplates are available to pre-order from the EK Webshop and through official EK retailers across Europe. The EK-Quantum Dual Evo RTX 2070/2080 D-RGB water block is priced at €149.90 and backplates start from €36.90.
