The PlayStation Store’s Black Friday sale is live

Black Friday is nearly upon us, and in celebration, PlayStation is hosting a massive PS Store sale, offering up to 70% off of some of 2019’s biggest games, including Resident Evil 2, Metro Exodus, and Devil May Cry V. This is just the first wave of the sale too, with more games being added to the list on the 28th. If you’ve been holding out on buying 2019’s biggest games, now is the time to do so.

Some of the best deals available include Devil May Cry V for £15.99 (64% off). This action-adventure hack and slash came out in March of this year to critical acclaim, becoming one of the top 10 highest rated games of the year upon its release.

Metro Exodus is also available for £15.99 saving you 70%. This first person shooter thriller was released back in February, and served as a great addition to the franchise. If you want a tense first person experience, that isn’t a survival horror game, Metro Exodus will serve you well.

Resident Evil 2 is currently tied for the highest rated game of the year on PlayStation 4, and can currently be had for £15.99 (64% off). This remake of the classic PSone survival horror game stands on its own as a must buy if you haven’t already.

Life is Strange 2’s final episode releases on the 3rd of December, and the complete season can now be purchased for £16.49 (50% off). While the first episode may have released in 2018, you can finally experience the entire story in one go, and for 50% off at that.

The witcher 3 may be an older title in comparison to many on this list, but it’s arguably one of the best games of the generation. If you’re looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077’s release next year, but have yet to play the Witcher 3, the complete edition featuring all the expansions can be yours for £12.99 (62% off).

These are but a small selection of the many games that PlayStation are offering for Black Friday. The sale is available from now until the 2nd of December, although more games will be added on the 28th, so be sure to check in then as well.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
