  • Patriot Viper DDR4 16GB 2400MHZ

Cooling performance:

Idle temperatures are just what we expect with the fans running quietly and everything staying very cool. Under maximum load after running AIDA 64 for 10 minutes we saw the CPU reach a high of 58C and the GPU reached a high of 77C.

It's a little warmer than some cases we have tested with these components but also cooler than others. The cooling is about average and the components are well within safe limits.

The Gamemax Starlight PC case can be found for sale HERE for £51.75 inc vat.

Pros:

  • Attractive to look at
  • RGB Lighting with plenty of control
  • Tempered glass side panel
  • PSU shroud
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • Build quality isn't great
  • No HDD or SSD trays
  • Narrow cable management space
  • Fan controller only works with specific fans

Kitguru says: The Gamemax Starlight case certainly lives up to its name with it's beautiful lighting but at this price point you do have to deal with some compromises due to the competitive pricing. It is ultimately let down a little by the build quality and some sharp metal edges.
