Battlefield 6 reveal goes live tomorrow

Following years of somewhat disappointing releases, the Battlefield series looks to be trying to make a big comeback with its upcoming Battlefield 6. While we’ve seen plenty from the game already thanks to numerous ‘Lab’ playtests, EA/DICE are set to finally give us our first proper look at Battlefield 6 tomorrow.

Taking to YouTube, the official Battlefield page published a teaser for their upcoming ‘Battlefield 6 Official Reveal Trailer’, writing: “Prepare for the ultimate all-out warfare experience in Battlefield 6.”

Set to go live on the 24th of July (tomorrow) at 4PM BST, the teaser for the trailer gives us a look at what may be the game’s main promotional / box art – clearly putting emphasis on both environmental destruction and the series’ popular squad mechanics.

That said, despite us being just one day away from our first proper look at Battlefield 6, it appears as though many of the game’s mechanics are still up in the air, with EA confirming recently that the upcoming open beta will include multiple playlists featuring different core mechanics – such as with the class system.

Regardless, it will be interesting to see how Battlefield 6 looks and plays outside of the aforementioned playtests. Given the fact that EA hopes to amass over 100 million players with the upcoming title, it had better be a pretty impressive trailer.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
