The latest Philips Evnia gaming monitor overclocks to 390Hz

The latest Philips Evnia gaming monitor has been announced. The new esports-focused model, the Evnia 25M2N5200U, is overclockable out of the box, boosting its already impressive 360Hz refresh rate up to 390Hz.

The Philips Evnia 25M2N5200U gaming monitor uses a Full HD Fast IPS panel with 1ms GtG response times and a 360Hz native refresh rate. Through the OSD, users can switch in overclocking mode to push the refresh rate even higher, up to a maximum of 390Hz.

The display is VESA-certified DisplayHDR 400, so it can offer brighter highlights in HDR content. Other image modifying features include Smart Contrast, which automatically adjusts colours and backlighting, and ShadowBoost, which provides additional levels of saturation and contrast. To ensure complete connectivity to all peripherals and an easy upgrade of the gaming set-up, this model features 2x HDMI 2.0 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4 ports, a USB hub and headphone out jack, covering most gaming needs.

The Philips Evnia 25M2N5200U gaming monitor will be available for purchase from mid-May 2025 at an MSRP of £329.00.
