PlayStation shares Ghost of Yotei ‘Features Trailer’ ahead of launch next month

Despite originally launching for the PlayStation 4, Ghost of Tsushima’s PS5 Director’s Cut made excellent use of the console’s unique features. As such, it is unsurprising to see the sequel ‘Ghost of Yotei' once again taking full use of the PS5, its DualSense controller and more.

Releasing a brief Features Trailer, the team at Sucker Punch Productions offered a glimpse into some of the more PS5-specific features being used for the upcoming sequel.

Though nothing too crazy on paper, Ghost of Yotei is confirmed to include:

  • “Stunning 4K” (we’ll have to wait and see whether it’s native or not)
  • DualSense Haptic Feedback support
  • Adaptive Trigger support
  • “Lightning-fast loading”
  • 3D Audio support

Again, while none of this is particularly new on paper (especially for first-party titles), Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 already impressed heavily with its sharp visuals; near instant loading times; solid Adaptive Trigger support and excellent haptic feedback.

With Ghost of Yotei being a PlayStation 5 exclusive launching well into the system’s life cycle, hopefully the upcoming sequel manages to ramp up all of these immersive effects to the max. We won’t have too long to wait to find out.
