GoPro unveils dog harness camera mount

If you thought GoPro had stopped coming up with novel ways to film the world, think again, as now you can attach up to two individual cameras to your dog, giving you an over the shoulder view and one that's more down to its level from a chest mount.

Called the GoPro Fetch harness, the system allows you to attach a GoPro on your favourite dog's chest and back, giving you an enthusiastic cameraman when you need one and also an insight into what it is your dog sees when you're trying to impress your Youtube following. The fully adjustable straps on the Fetch, fit dogs between seven and 54 kilos, though for smaller animals the chest mount will need to be removed. It's padded around the joints so it's comfortable and is machine washable for when your little pal drools all over it. It's all water resistant though, so you can take your dog swimming or surfing and still be able to capture footage.

GoPro's senior director of product management, Paul Osborne said in a statement, that he believed the Fetch would let the world capture the dog's eye view of what life is like.

“We designed Fetch to meet the unique needs and usage for pets and can’t wait to see the images and videos that owners will capture and share now that they have a mount specifically for their dog,” he said.

The Fetch mount alone will set you back £60. Camera not included.
