The 2.5GbE connection shows its worth in our backup/restore test. In the backup test it bumps the transfer rate up by 87MB/s for RAID 0 and 79MB/s for RAID 1, while we saw increases of 122MB/s (RAID 0) and 96MB/s (RAID 1) when restoring the data.
