Ahead of the PC launch for The Last of Us Part II, Sony has announced a limited edition TLOU DualSense controller; available next month.

When Microsoft first launched the Xbox Series X/S consoles, it also introduced an option for customers to pay a smartphone-style monthly contract to obtain the console and two years of Game Pass for a monthly fee, rather than buying the console outright. Now, Sony has also adopted this idea for PS5, PS5 Pro, PS VR2, PS Portal and other products. 

Recent evidence shows that the PlayStation Store has been updated with a hidden listing for the Gears of War Collection. Typically, these PSN Store backend leaks are legitimate, so it appears that after a decade of appearing in rumours, the Gears Trilogy will finally return in remastered form. 

Following the release of their first game, the team behind the Until Dawn Remake – Ballistic Moon – are said to be “effectively closed.”

Ubisoft has a lot riding on the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows later this month. Ahead of the March 20th launch day, the publisher has now announced details on pre-loading, as well as global unlock times for digital copies of the game across PC, PS5 and Xbox.

With pre-orders now live, Forza Horizon 5 has shot up to the top of the charts on the PlayStation Store across multiple countries.

In a surprise update, Night Dive Studios’ Turok: Dinosaur Hunter Remaster has gotten a native current-gen upgrade alongside a ton of new features.

Playground Games has now detailed the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5, with the Pro console getting ray-tracing on track among other enhancements.

Prior to its release on the Xbox Series X|S last year, Microsoft confirmed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would also be swinging its way onto PS5 in 2025. While we have yet to get a concrete release date, one insider has now claimed that the game is planned for launch sometime this April.

Fable has been delayed from 2025 to 2026. As it turns out, this could have something to do with Microsoft's evolving multiplatform strategy, as rumour has it that Fable will now launch on PC, Xbox and PS5 simultaneously. 

The excellent Sayonara Wild Hearts has gotten a surprise free PS5 upgrade, adding a new mode, DualSense support and more.

While we did not get any concrete release window at the time, one leaker has now claimed that the game has been pushed from its internal release of 2025 to some time next year.

Late last year, we began to hear rumours that Sony Bend’s open-world zombie shooter ‘Days Gone’ could be getting a PS5 remaster in the wake of the release of Horizon Zero Dawn’s recent PS5 upgrade. Sure enough, during last night’s State of Play, Sony officially announced Days Gone Remastered alongside a bunch of nifty new additions.

Delta Force has been off to a good start since its launch in December. The Battlefield-inspired free-to-play shooter launched to positive reception in December with the game's multiplayer mode. Now, the game's ambitious Black Hawk Down campaign is also ready for its time in the spotlight. 

A Remote Code Execution exploit has been discovered in Marvel Rivals, allowing hackers to remotely spread malware through the game.

Sony's next State of Play stream has been confirmed and is set to air on the 12th of February, offering 40 minutes of new PS5 game announcements.

Sony made the decision to drop PSN account requirements for its PC games at the right time, as over the weekend, the PlayStation Network suffered a major outage. Sony claimed an ‘operational error' was to blame for the network going down. As a result of the outage, the Monster Hunter …

The PlayStation Network recently suffered from its biggest down period in well over a decade – second only to the infamous 2011 PSN outage. While not nearly as severe (lasting less than 24 hours), Sony has offered an apology to players, giving all PS Plus subscribers 5 extra days of service for free.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach might be arriving sooner rather than later, with the sequel having now gotten an official rating in Korea.

Back in August, we began to hear rumours that Microsoft was planning to bring Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 to PlayStation – following on from the likes of Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves. Reports later claimed that this port had been internally delayed, but not cancelled. Finally, seemingly out of nowhere, Forza Horizon 5 has officially been announced for PS5.
