Razer revamps Leviathan gaming soundbar

The Razer Leviathan is getting a long-awaited revamp for 2022. The new Leviathan V2 makes some key upgrades, adds RGB lighting, a bigger subwoofer and support for THX Spatial Audio.

Razer released the first Leviathan gaming soundbar in 2014. As an 8-year-old product, it was time for an upgrade, leading to the Leviathan V2 this year.

Visually, the new Leviathan soundbar is a lot like the original model, including the relatively small dimensions. However, the addition of configurable 18-zone RGB lighting (Razer Chroma) gives it some extra flair. As for the subwoofer, it has changed a bit more. Besides being slightly bigger (5.5″ vs 5.25″), it looks more like a cube than a trapezoid.

The soundbar features two full-range drivers, two passive radiators, and two tweeters, which should be enough to fill a decent-sized room. Moreover, it supports THX Spatial Audio and Bluetooth 5.2. The Razer Leviathan V2 is now available for $249.99.

KitGuru says: Like the original Leviathan, the compact form factor may become a selling point for the new model. It's significantly smaller compared to most soundbars, allowing users to put them on top of a desk without occupying too much space.
