Bayonetta Origins demo released

Many fans were left surprised by the announcement of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon as it seems to differ quite a lot from the mainline entries in the spectacle fighter franchise. If you are still unsure what to think about the upcoming title, a demo has now been released letting you experience the game’s first two chapters.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Nintendo page said “Start your Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon story…today! Download the free demo to play the first two chapters and carry your progress to the full game.”

For the uninitiated, Bayonetta Origins is a spin-off title which sees you “Join Cereza and her demon Cheshire on a journey through a faerie-filled forest in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon for Nintendo Switch. Turn the pages of this vibrantly-illustrated storybook adventure to discover the origins of the titular Umbra Witch.”

It is highly interesting to see PlatinumGames taking on an entirely new direction with this latest Bayonetta title. With how different the game seems to be from the mainline entries it is good to see that a demo has been made available and that progress will carry over should you choose to purchase the game after the fact. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on the 17th of March.
