Gran Turismo 7 gets 5 new cars and more in latest update

Since the initial release of Gran Turismo 7 back in 2022, the team at Polyphony Digital have continuously updated the game with new vehicles, modes, tracks, and a whole bunch more. For the month of November, GT7 is getting  a bunch of new cars, Scapes and more in its latest update.

Making the announcement on their blog, the team at Polyphony Digital shared the list of changes and additions coming with update 1.54 later today.

Being a racing game, easily the most important addition are the vehicles, with GT7 set to get 5 new cars in total, namely:

  • Ford Escort RS Cosworth '92
  • Mercedes-Benz W 196 R '55
  • Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) '20
  • Porsche Mission X '23
  • Suzuki Jimny Sierra JC '18

Beyond this, the game is adding an extra collection to the café; introducing the wheel brand ‘Rotiform’ and publishing new Scapes and world circuit events.

Last but not least, the patch 1.54 also expands the total number of tracks which the game’s advanced driving AI Sophy can race on, with two additional tracks.

Gran Turismo 7 was already solid at launch, but over the course of the MANY updates introduced to the game, the title has only gotten better with time.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the update? Have you tried racing against Sophy yet? How was it? Let us know down below.
