Jedi: Survivor’s complete 1444-paged sheet music published online

A video game’s soundtrack is just as important as the game itself in many instances. Despite this, developers rarely give it the flowers it deserves – with many publishers just now beginning to release their game soundtracks to music services. It therefore comes as a massive yet welcome surprise to see the entire 1444 pages of sheet music for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor being published online for all.

Taking to Twitter, the the co-composer of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor said “For all the #JediSurvivor fans out there, and FYC for the GRAMMYs and SCL Awards – courtesy of our music team, here is @GordyHaab's and my complete orchestral score for Star Wars Jedi Survivor. The whole thing. All 1444 pages, eight hours of it. Enjoy!”

As mentioned, we have only just begun to see OSTs for certain games being posted online officially. And even then, publishers like Nintendo have little to no presence on any music streaming services.

As such it is commendable to see the entire sheet music for Jedi Survivor being published online for free – showing not only just how much effort is put into the music for a game, but also allowing any and all those who wish, to learn, replicate or tweak the composition to their hearts’ desire. Hopefully more devs follow suit.
