You may know by now that Intel's mobile discrete GPU offerings are based on two distinct units: the ACM-G10 with 32 Xe-cores and ACM-G11 with 8 Xe-cores. However, it seems there will be a third unit, presumably called ACM-G12, with 16 Xe-cores.

On the same day Intel announced the Arc mobile GPUs, Coelcanth's Dream (via VideoCardz) spotted an unannounced SKU on Intel Graphics Compiler for OpenCL, named ACM-G12/DG2-256. As the name implies, it should feature 256 EUs/16 Xe-cores/2048 FP32 cores and 8MB of L2 cache, putting it right between the ACM-G10 with 32 Xe-cores and ACM-G11 with 8 Xe-cores. Memory specifications are still unknown, but it should either feature a 128-bit or a 192-bit memory bus.

Considering Intel didn't mention the ACM-G12 GPU during the mobile GPU presentation, we assume this SKU could be exclusive to desktops (A500?) or dedicated to workstation products. Another hypothesis is that the mobile segment will receive this GPU later on.

At the moment, Intel Arc A-series GPUs are only available on laptops, but desktop graphics cards are planned for the summer. Workstation graphics cards should release this year too.
