Guardians of the Galaxy PC features include ray-tracing and DLSS

Eidos Montreal and Square Enix are hard at work on their single-player Guardians of the Galaxy game, which is due to release later this month. The PC version of the game will come with a host of exclusive features, including ray-traced reflections and DLSS support.

In a new trailer, the PC features of Guardians of the Galaxy are detailed, including support for up to 8K resolution, HDR and wide colour gamut support, diffuse illumination and higher quality lighting, real-time ray-tracing and of course, Nvidia's DLSS, which will enable higher performance on RTX series graphics cards.

Unfortunately, the trailer was not accompanied by PC minimum and recommended system requirements, but that information should be released within the next couple of weeks.

Unlike Marvel's Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy is a single-player action game, where players will take on the roll of Star Lord looking to take down a galactic threat. The game is set to release on the 26th of October.

KitGuru Says: I've got high hopes for this game, although I'm not expecting it to be as good as Rocksteady's Batman games or Insomniac's Spider-Man titles. Will any of you be picking up Guardians of the Galaxy later this month?
