Horizon Zero Dawn PC patch adds DLSS and FSR support

We've known for a while now that it is possible to get DLSS working with the Decima Engine, as Death Stranding launched with Nvidia's machine-learning powered upscaling in place. Now in a surprise announcement, Guerrilla Games has revealed that it is bringing DLSS over to the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn. 

Horizon Zero Dawn first launched for PC back in 2020, acting as the first PlayStation first-party exclusive to go multi-platform. It has been a while since the PC version has had an update, but as of today, a new patch is available, including new upscaling technologies.

Here, we have DLSS for RTX graphics card owners, and AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution as well, which replaces FidelityFX CAS in the options menu, offering improved upscaling and performance benefits. We don't have exact percentages on expected performance gains yet, but based on previous titles, we can expect a decent performance bump across a range of graphics cards with FSR or DLSS enabled.

Other changes made with Patch 1.11 include the removal of shader pre-compilation when booting up the game. This process will now happen in the background, which may cause slightly longer load screens depending on your CPU.
