ViewSonic introduces new VX2776-2K-OLED gaming monitor

ViewSonic is adding a new OLED display to its arsenal. The new ViewSonic VX2776-2K-OLED will offer PC gamers with a 1440p OLED panel with HDR, 240Hz refresh rate and ultra low response times.

The VX2776-2K-OLED packs a 27-inch OLED panel with 2560×1440 resolution and a 10-bit colour bit depth. It supports 100% of the sRGB colour space and 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space. It is HDR10 certified, with a usual brightness of 190 nits and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The monitor comes calibrated out of the factory with a Delta E<2.

With AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, it offers a GTG response time of 0.03ms and a native refresh rate of 240Hz. Other features of this monitor include a blue light filter, ViewMode, anti-glare and low reflection AGLR technology, and anti-burn-in technology.

The model also offers RGB backlighting and a fully ergonomic stand with up to 130mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-45 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. The device has two HDMI 2.1 inputs, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, a USB-C connector with 96W power delivery and DP Alt Mode, two USB-A ports, a USB-B port, and a headphone jack. ViewSonic's website says USB 3.0 ports, but the user manual describes them as USB 3.2. A set of 3W speakers is also included.

The ViewSonic VX2776-2K-OLED is already available on Chinese retailers for £763,20 (CNY 6,999), making it slightly cheaper than the LG 27GR95QE available in the UK.

KitGuru says: Assuming it would be priced similarly as in China, the VX2776-2K-OLED could be one of the cheapest OLED gaming monitors on the market, making it an interesting choice for those who want to upgrade to an OLED gaming display.
