Asus has introduced the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDS, a 31.5-inch 4K gaming monitor featuring a 180Hz refresh rate.
Despite its peak brightness of 450 nits, the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDS (via DisplaySpecifications) lacks VESA DisplayHDR certification. Official certifications cover AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, and VESA AdaptiveSync Display. Feature additions include GamePlus, GameVisual, Dynamic Shadow Boost, and ROG Gaming AI enhancements.
The panel incorporates a BlackShield film that Asus claims provides 40% deeper blacks in bright rooms and 2.5x greater scratch resistance than previous QD-OLED generations. Its protection system includes OLED Care Pro, which uses a Neo Proximity Sensor, a custom heatsink, and optimised airflow channels. Other tools include a Uniform Brightness mode, aspect ratio scaling down to a 24.5-inch 1080p layout, and a top-mounted tripod socket for cameras. Display outputs feature two HDMI 2.1 48Gbps ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 connection with DSC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The stand offers 110mm height adjustment, +/-25° swivel, -5° to +20° tilt, and VESA 100×100 mounting options.
