Intel 14th Gen Core K-series CPUs will reportedly launch on October 17th

Intel is expected to begin talking about its 14th Gen Core desktop processors later this month. Typically, we see new unlocked K-series chips each year around October time and according to new reports, that trend will continue with plans to launch the first 14th Gen Core desktop processors on October 17th.

According to VideoCardz, Intel's new round of processors will become available in October, alongside launch-day reviews. Retailers planning to sell these chips will apparently get to reveal their listings one day before on the 16th of October.

It's worth noting that this release date applies exclusively to the K and KF-series processors, which include the Core i9-14900K/KF (24 cores), Core i7-14700K/KF (20 cores), and Core i5-14600K/KF (14 cores). All of them are unlocked 125W TDP chips, with non-K series variations with TDPs of 65W or lower likely to be officially announced next year around CES 2024.
