September’s PlayStation Plus Essential line-up announced

Each month, Sony updates its PlayStation Plus line-up with a selection of 3 titles or so. While perhaps not the strongest of months, September’s line-up has now been announced; including a bonus 4th game for ‘free’.

Taking to the PlayStation Blog to make the announcement, Sony unveiled the line-up of titles set to drop onto PlayStation Plus Essential on the 1st of September.

Typically, the console maker includes 3 titles in total. Next month however will see a bonus 4th game – with the full line-up being as follows:

  • Sniper Elite: Resistance | PS5, PS4
  • MLB The Show 26 | PS5
  • Wobbly Life | PS5, PS4
  • Chained Echoes | PS4

PlayStation Plus

As mentioned, though far from the most exciting of months, there is still a solid amount of variety on offer. Sniper Elite: Resistance may not have overhauled the long-running series, but it does mark the latest entry in what is a fun and replayable stealth franchise.

Following on from last month’s addition of Big Walk, Wobbly Life is another co-op focused experience in which “you explore an open-world sandbox where almost everything is interactive and is filled with mini-games, toys, and secrets”. Released back in 2025, the game holds an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating on Steam.

In case you missed it, you still have until the 1st of September to add last month’s games to your library, including the aforementioned Big Walk, alongside Dying Light 2 and Signalis.
