In recent years, Mojang has been hard at work on expanding Minecraft beyond the main game through multiple spin-offs. Over the weekend during Minecraft Live 2026, the next big spin-off title was announced, and it's a sequel to one of the best spin-offs so far. 

Over the years, CD Projekt Red has dabbled in tabletop gaming from time to time. Following the success of a licensed Witcher board game, CD Projekt Red surprised fans this month with the announcement of an official Cyberpunk Trading Card game. Initially seeking $100,000 in crowd funding, the game has surpassed expectations, raising over $12 million so far.

The original Nintendo Switch had a fantastic first year on the market, primarily driven by major exclusive games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.
