We're over six months on from Microsoft announcing plans to acquire Activision Blizzard, kicking off the lengthy process of gaining approvals from anti-trust organisations across the world. Valve has consistently provided updates on its production plans for the Steam Deck. This week, those sitting in the pre-order queue got some good news, with Valve confirming that  it has secured enough units to fulfil all reservations made so far.

A newly found Core i5-13600K benchmark entry in Geekbench shows some promising results. As per the scores, the upcoming mid-range processors from Intel will contend with the Ryzen 9 5950X in multi-core workloads.

Earlier this summer, Sony surprised us all by announcing Insomniac's Spider-Man and Miles Morales games for PC. We'll be getting Spider-Man Remastered on PC in just a few weeks time, on the 12th of August. Sony has also revealed graphical features and the system requirements needed to run the game. 

Despite the success of Stranger Things Season 4, there has been a lingering nervousness around Netflix's Q2 earnings report. In Q1, the streaming giant lost subscribers for the first time in a decade, putting an end to the non-stop growth Netflix had previously enjoyed. Over last quarter, Netflix did lost almost a million subscribers worldwide, which is actually much less than initially forecast.

An apparent presentation leak may have revealed Intel's pricing strategy for its upcoming A-series desktop graphics cards. So far, it looks like Intel's flagship A770 GPU will compete with the RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6650 XT in terms of price, coming in at under $400.
