Noctua NH-L9i Low Profile CPU Cooler Review

We measured the noise output of our entire system from a distance of 1m while the CPU cooler's fan(s) operate at 100% (indicating the maximum noise output).

Lower noise levels can be achieved by utilising the Noctua NH-L9i CPU cooler's 4-pin PWM operated fan with a dynamic profile, or by making use of the supplied Low-Noise Adapter (L.N.A.).

With a fan speed of 2500 RPM, the NH-L9i can't compete with Intel's lower-speed cooler. 40.9 dbA isn't a noise level that can be considered as irritating or obtrusive, but when coupled with other quiet components, the NF-A9x14 will be audible to nearby listeners.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
