AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Review – overclocking performance

For our final ‘Flagship 6 core testing', we crank both processors to 4.3ghz and compare the results again.

Validation of the Core i7 970 processor at this speed is available over here.

The Core i7 970 delivers stunning AES256 levels of performance in the Cryptography benchmark scoring just shy of 9GB.

At 4.3ghz, the Core i7 970 managed to deliver a sub 10 minute encoding result with Espresso, over 4 minutes faster than the 1100T at the same clock speeds. Cinema 4D rendering also shows huge performance increases when moving to the flagship Intel solutions.
