Intel Arc A370M GPU appears in benchmark database

Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs have clearly found their way into the hands of a few. This time, someone tested a laptop equipped with an Arc A370M mobile GPU with Bapco CrossMark, a cross-platform productivity test.

Once again, the benchmark entry was spotted by @TUM_APISAK. Reading it, you can see the system also had a 14C/20T Intel Core i7-12800H and an 8GB DDR5-4800 memory stick. Based on the name of the platform (“Intel Corporation AlderLake-P DDR5 RVP”), we believe this to be a qualification/engineering board.

From what we've gathered, the Arc A370M will be an entry-level mobile GPU based on the DG2-128EU SKU. Moreover, memory configuration should be limited to 4GB GDDR6 at 14Gbps across a 64-bit memory bus. Based on these assumptions, the A370M should rival the AMD Radeon RX 6500M and the Nvidia RTX 2050.

The first laptop featuring Intel Arc Alchemist mobile GPUs are expected to come out before the end of Q1 2022. We should learn more about Intel Arc Alchemist mobile line-up soon.

KitGuru says: Unfortunately, the Bapco CrossMark test isn't the best benchmark to compare a single component in a system, but it shouldn't take long before we see more results from other benchmarks. In any case, with Intel's new mobile GPUs right around the corner, it's only a matter of time until we know how they perform against the competition.
