Intel Optane Memory 32GB Review

CrystalDiskMark is a useful benchmark to measure theoretical performance levels of hard drives and SSD’s. We are using V3.0.3.

When dealing with small files at a fairly deep queue depth, the Intel Optane memory module excels when it comes to read performance, going straight to the top of our chart, producing 951.2MB/s in the default CrystalDiskMark test. As can be seen from the benchmark result screens, the controller has no real preference when it comes to dealing with data.
