For ‘idle’ power draw, a reading was taken after having Windows open on the desktop for 30 minutes. A reading under load was taken with Prime 95’s SmallFFt test running alongside 3DMark Fire Strike.

Power consumption is very low – the load figure is less than half of the RM650x's rated capacity. This ensures a quiet power supply fan, while the PSU should also be operating at its peak efficiency level.
